PROFESSIONAL ACTIVATION OF NEETS IN LODZKIE REGION

The project "Activation of young people who are unemployed in the Lodz region" with the number POWR.01.02.02-10-0199 / 15 is implemented in the period 2016-02-01 to 2018-02-28. The project is co-financed under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Social Fund.

The project is run by SIGNA together with PUBLICA FIDES.

SIGNA - project coordinator together with PUBLICA FIDES invite you to participate in the project "Activation of young people unemployed in the Lodz region" of women and men up to 29 years of age who are professionally inactive or unemployed. Through vocational training and internships we will increase employment opportunities for these people. The project is directed to 84 residents of the Lodz region, including the disabled and will last in the period 01.02.2016 - 28/02/2018.

THE MAIN GOALS OF THE PROJECT

• increasing activity on the labor market,

• organization of 84 internships,

• approx. 35 participants will be employed after completing their participation in the project

WHO DO WE INVITE?

The project is open to women and men aged 15-29, who:

• are unemployed, including long-term unemployed (ie registered in PUP),

• are professionally inactive (ie they are not working and are not unemployed, can be students in the evening and extramural mode as well as persons on parental leave),

• are not educated (ie they do not participate in formal education in a full-time mode),

• do not train (ie they do not participate in extracurricular activities aimed at obtaining, supplementing or improving professional and general skills or qualifications necessary to perform work),

• are residents of the Lodzkie Voivodship within the meaning of the provisions of the Civil Code.

OUR TASKS IN THE PROJECT

Diagnosis of training needs through the Individual Action Plan with a vocational counselor (6h lesson / person, including needs analysis, identification of difficulties, recognition of career goals)

Workshop on active job search techniques (32h lesson) in the field of:

• Labor law,

• Application documents

• Sources of offers,

• Job search techniques,

• Interview,

• Career goals.

• Workshops for acquiring key competences (26h lesson) range:

• Communication,

• Self-presentation,

• Assertiveness,

• Team and individual work,

• Methods of coping with stress.

• Job placement and career guidance (6 h lesson) scope:

• Help in choosing a profession,

• The use of standard methods to facilitate the change of qualifications,

• Choosing a profession,

• Taking up employment / education and / or getting qualifications.

    Vocational training (based on the diagnosis of needs in accordance with the Individual Action Plan). Sample courses:

• Chef

• Welder

• Paver

• Saleman

• Backhoe loaders,

• Warehouseman (including forklift truck service),

• The carrer of an eldearly, disabled or dependent person,

• ECDL (computer basics),

• Florist / Cosmetics,

• Hairdressing,

• Bookkeeping,

• Securuty of persons and property,

• Driving license category C,

• Running a business.

• Internships lasting three months

• Psychological and counseling support (4h lesson, help in identifying and overcoming individual problems related to professional activity).
